When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A High School Math teacher. My role model in high school was my math teacher. I stopped that journey in college once I took Calculus III. Fortunately, I feel like I have become a teacher.
What is your favorite travel destination?
I have had the good fortune to travel quite a bit, but my favorite travel destination, that I have actually been to, is Italy. I love the food, the history, the “hole in the wall restaurants”, the wine, etc. My bucket list destinations include Australia, Iceland, and the Philippines.
What was your first job?
During the summer between the 5th and 6th grade, I had three “jobs”. I shared three paper routes with a buddy. I also worked on a farm splitting apricots for drying out and finally bagged ice at the local liquor store for the owner to sell. This is when I learned hard work and staying busy would be the key to my happiness.
What's your favorite sports team?
Although I am a Rams season ticket owner, I have always been a 49er fan (since my youth). I am also an Angels fan and was able to go to a World Series game in 2002.
