Bio
Valerie Esteban is an Investment Advisor Representative with Oakwood Wealth Partners. Mrs. Esteban began her career with Osaic Wealth (formerly Lincoln Financial Advisors) as a Paraplanner. In this role she provided support to over 30 Financial Planners that comprise Osaic Wealth’s California Fringe Benefit division in the Southern California region focusing on institutional and individual retirement planning. During this time, she learned the dynamic process of creating blueprints for wealth accumulation, distribution, and asset transfer. Valerie works with retirees, executives, and families to help secure a successful financial future by, first, getting a deep understanding of each client’s immediate and long-term goals, and then designing uniquely tailored solutions. Her philosophy is to take a comprehensive approach to financial planning and
leveraging her team to cover retirement planning, estate planning strategies, and wealth management. “My objective is to help our clients identify financial blind spots and then be a catalyst for action! What is most gratifying is that the long-term relationships we build with our clients allow me to see the sustained impact we have on our clients’ lives.”
Valerie graduated Magna Cum Laude from California State University Fullerton where she earned her B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration in Financial Planning. She is passionate about empowering her community through financial literacy. She has volunteered at a youth summer camp teaching high school students about financial independence. With a lifelong commitment to education, Valerie has earned the professional certification of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) practitioner and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor℠ (CRPC®) designations from the College for Financial Planning®.
Valerie lives in Anaheim with her husband Mike, and their daughters Avery and Mila. They enjoy spending time at home cooking and more recently have developed an affinity for building their own furniture. They also share a joy for basketball, hiking, and family.
