What does financial success look like to you?
To me, financial success is being able to maintain or increase our current standard of living throughout each phase of life. Also, being able to provide a legacy to our children and important charitable organizations is important.
What is your favorite part about your role?
Seeing our clients smile by providing them with lasting and meaningful impacts. I enjoy helping them meet their most important goals and wishes.

Sean Hooper is an Investment Advisor Representative with Lincoln Financial Advisors Corporation. He works with pre-retirees, young professionals, business owners and their families to help them achieve financial independence. Sean and his team take a holistic, personalized approach to financial planning. Together, they work on a cross disciplinary basis, across investments, risk management, and estate planning. Our team recognizes that our clients are the most important part of our firm. We take pride in serving our clients first, last, and always. The most rewarding aspect of Sean’s career is seeing the lasting impact that his team can make on their clients’ lives.
Sean started his career at Lincoln Financial Advisors as part of the Advisor Development Program. In this role, he created financial plans and retirement solutions for advisors throughout the country. While in the program, Sean was honored as the winner of the Advisor in Training of The Year Award* at the annual Lincoln Financial Advisors Sales Conference in 2018. Sean then joined Oakwood Wealth Partners as a Registered Paraplanner prior to transitioning to an advisor. As a paraplanner, his role was to facilitate and research investment and saving options for our clients.
Sean graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a Business Administration Degree with a concentration in Financial Planning. He has achieved the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) designation and is studying for the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM (CFP®) designation from the College for Financial Planning. Sean enjoys learning about the financial planning business and creating various innovative solutions for our clients.
Sean is an Orange County native, who was born and raised in Newport Beach, California. He currently lives in Long Beach with his beautiful wife, Christina, their daughter, Alaina, and their dog, Jax. Sean is an avid Pittsburgh sports fan, and his hobbies include sports collectibles, podcasts, golfing, spending time with friends and family, and traveling.
* This internal award is given to the AIT who has demonstrated their ability to be the most well rounded across all the different projects that are asked of them from advisors. This includes but is not limited to setting appointments, retirement illustration plans, investment illustrations, financial condition models, beneficiary reports, meeting preparation, as well as other reports as requested by financial advisors. They have actively made their licensing studies a priority and have demonstrated their willingness to help train and lead other advisors in training. The recipient is also in good standing with the firm and the financial regulators.
