What does financial success look like to you?
To me, financial success is when you have the means to be yourself, live your life the way you want to live it, and maintain that lifestyle through times of adversity.

My favorite part about my role is being able to work closely with all members of our team and help each of them serve our clients.

The best advice I’ve been given is to focus on the things that you can control and the rest will follow with time.
Matthew Manskar is a financial planner with Oakwood Wealth Partners. Through comprehensive planning, Matt partners with his clients, develops a long-term relationship with them, understands what is most important in their lives, and creates a plan that makes sense for their situation. Matt has earned the professional certification of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) designations.
Matt joined Oakwood Wealth Partners in 2020 as a registered paraplanner. As a paraplanner, his role was to facilitate and research investment and saving options for our clients. Matt started his career with Lincoln as a part of the Financial Professional Training Program. In this role, Matt worked with Lincoln’s extensive network of financial professionals where he learned the foundation of creating and implementing financial plans and solutions.
Matt graduated Cum Laude from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona where he received a B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance, Real Estate, and Law. During his tenure at Cal Poly Pomona, Matt was selected to participate in the Student Managed Investment Fund (SMIF) where he performed security analysis and portfolio construction while helping manage the program’s two portfolios. Matt was also a four-year member of the NCAA baseball team at CPP.
Matt currently resides in his hometown of San Clemente, California. When he’s not working, Matt enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing sports, cooking, and going to the beach.
